Happy 1st Birthday to service dogs June, Sarge and Riley!!!
Three of our service dogs placed through the Cpl Dane Freedman PTSD Service Dog Fund are celebrating their first birthday today. We have enjoyed following Mikes progress with Sarge over the past year at a Mechanicsburg training facility called Dog T.A.G.S. to learn behaviors that will help relieve Mikes symptoms of PTSD.

June has spent the first year of her life with her owener RJ, a Marine Corps veteran from Michigan. Here are a few words from RJ about how much June has helped him this past year: "Dogs are amazing creatures. They don't tell time yet choose to stand by humans as they worry about their silly deadlines. I can't thank you enough June for helping me broaden my sense of self and realize how important your small daily contributions are to my well being. You will always be better than me." We are so happy you two have each other, RJ. We can't wait to follow your progress in the new year!

Riley has spent the first year of his life with his new companion, USMC veteran Thomas O'Brien in Irving, TX. We look forward to watching the two of you progress for many years to come.
