This article written by "Marty" on www.oefnation.com perfectly outlines the unethical way our veterans are obtaining "treatment" from the VA for their post traumatic stress. Dane went through so much of this, and often felt that he was a "lab rat" as they just threw him pill after pill. This is a heartbreaking article that I suggest everyone reads for a true understanding of the current overmedication epidemic we see among our veterans. The picture attached is actually a basket of all the medication Dane had in his possession when he passed away, enough to tranquilize not one horse, but probably up to TEN!! This is absolutely heartbreaking that our veterans continue to be treated this way.
